Juanita Colbert is a Certified Family Life Educator with more than 29 years of experience supporting children, parents, and families. With a Master’s degree in Family Science, she brings expertise in family engagement, child development, co-parenting, and trauma-informed practices.
As Founder of Family Connect Solutions LLC, Juanita works with families, schools, organizations, and community partners to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create healthier environments for children and families.
Her approach is practical, compassionate, and strengths-based—giving families the tools and support they need to connect, grow, and thrive.

Derrick Colbert brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in strategic development, program innovation, and community impact.
As Chief Development Officer of Family Connect Solutions LLC, he leads organizational growth, strategic partnerships, program development, and outreach efforts that expand the company’s impact.
As a Certified Fatherhood Trainer and Credentialed Family Development Practitioner, Derrick is passionate about strengthening fathers, families, and communities through meaningful engagement and practical support.
His leadership helps position Family Connect Solutions for sustainable growth while staying focused on its mission: stronger families, stronger communities.
