Juanita Colbert, MA, CFLE
Founder • Certified Family Life Educator • Parent & Co-Parenting Coach • Family Engagement Specialist
Juanita Stackhouse-Colbert is a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) and family life coach with more than 29 years of experience empowering families to build stronger relationships, improve communication, and support the healthy development of children. She holds a Master of Arts in Family Science from Concordia University St. Paul, where she strengthened her foundation in family systems, child development, trauma-informed practices, and culturally responsive education.
Juanita helps parents, caregivers, and children navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Her coaching philosophy centers on balanced, nurturing parenting—where love, boundaries, communication, and emotional intelligence work together to help children grow and thrive. She remains impartial, empathetic, and nonjudgmental when supporting diverse families, creating a safe space for healing, learning, and growth.
Juanita has extensive experience designing family life education programs, facilitating co-parenting classes, and supporting children coping with trauma, grief, or major transitions. She is also a strong advocate for school-family partnerships and has collaborated with educators, parent organizations, and community programs to strengthen meaningful family engagement.
As the founder of Family Connect Solutions LLC, Juanita’s mission is to equip families with practical tools, research-based guidance, and compassionate support so they can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and thrive at home, in school, and in their communities.
Derrick Colbert, Chief Development Officer
Derrick Colbert is a seasoned business and executive leader with over 25 years of
experience in strategic innovation, program development, and community impact. His work
has empowered hundreds of individuals to discover their passion and potential.
Derrick Colbert serves as Chief Development Officer at Family Connect Solutions LLC, where he supports the organization’s growth, sustainability, and long-term vision. In this role, he focuses on strategic development, partnerships, and behind-the-scenes operations that help strengthen the organization’s impact and reach.
With a deep commitment to family, community, and service, Derrick works collaboratively to support program development, outreach efforts, and organizational planning. His leadership helps ensure that Family Connect Solutions LLC remains mission-driven, responsive to community needs, and positioned for continued growth.
Derrick’s work reflects a shared belief that strong families and strong organizations are built through partnership, intention, and thoughtful development. Derrick is also a Certified Fatherhood Trainer, Credentialed Family Development Practitioner
